Journey of Decisions: Finding My Way Through Life's Twists and Turns
I've been intending to start this blog for quite a while now, but I haven't been sure about how I wanted to go about it. I think that writing without a clear mind often leads to incorrect responses. I've been there and done that. To say that this past year has been difficult feels like an understatement. As some of you know, I have relocated once again. I'm now in Michigan. It's been a long journey, but I've made it this far. Making decisions is quite a complex concept. We believe we are making the right choices, only to sometimes discover that we may be in error, even if your friends want to bop you on the head for some choices. The thing about it is that sometimes we don't even know, and I think we need to find out for ourselves.
I went from living in Virginia to a short stay in North Carolina and now to Michigan. While I don't want to delve too deeply into the personal aspects of things, I will say that I made the decisions I had to make for myself. I will also say outright that I did not move here to "chase any women." As for my friends, I'm learning more and more every day who is truly there for me. The people who know you well can tell when something is wrong. They will do whatever it takes to pull you from the fire, and I thank God for those people. Without them, all the good that has happened wouldn't have been possible. They are truly a wonderful group of people.
The place I am living in now is relatively small but comfortable. I have a bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a living room. I'm content with that for now. I have also returned to doing The Rock Vault. You know, as much as I love taking a break, it eventually gives you that itch to return. It builds up, and you come back charged and ready to create some new content. It's challenging at times, but I'm trying to focus on all the good that has come out of otherwise difficult circumstances. That's what keeps me going. It's great to feel the mending and strengthening of friendships. People are coming back together, and there are so many fun times to have and to be had. I want to thank them all for their support and their prayers. Until next time...
